Does a Bear Poop in the Woods? Not Without This.

I can't say anything more than was said on Newlaunches, so please read it there.

Yeah.  And I thought maybe it was a place to store your stuff.  I certainly wouldn't pay for this, but it's hilarious just the same.

    Transformers II

Wired's Geekdad lists 10 reasons to skip work and go see Transformers.  Hmmm...I just might have to do that.  Because, well, I'm like that.

Oh, and Frank Welker is back, as is Peter Cullen of course.  And for watching (and not listening), there's always Megan Fox and Josh Duhamel.  Nice eye candy, both of them.  Except I always confuse Josh Duhamel with Timothy Olyphant.  And no, I'm not leaving out Shia LaBeouf...I just assumed you'd know he was in it.  (I just adore IMDB, don't you?)

    Wow, does that start tomorrow???

    Hard Times (pass it on)

If you're one of those people who believe that something bad will happen if you don't pass it on, this video is for you.

If you've never heard of Ze Frank, well, where do you live, a box?

Instead of sending it to five people, I'm sending it to all of you. :)

    Full-Length Movies on YouTube!

Did you know you could watch full-length movies on YouTube?  I don't mean pirated ones, either.  Apparently, Sony has partnered with YouTube to bring several movies online via Crackle.  These will be ad-supported and I'm pretty sure you won't fine new releases, but hey, when you get the urge to watch Son of Godzilla, it'll be right at your fingertips!

There's a pretty good list of titles there, including Stripes.

    The Meaning of Life

We've all seen the movies Monty Python's Meaning of Life and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.  I adore the endings of both of them (the whole movies, actually).  They're so incredibly different and yet say the exact same thing: life is what you make of it.

I like to keep people guessing.  I've recently started wearing skirts and dresses to work, which is very unlike me.  It's thrown everyone for a loop, which is just what I wanted.  While I still wear my t-shirts with skulls and jeans, it's nice to come in and look (and smell) all girly for a change.  The smell refers to perfume, should you be wondering; I do take a shower every day.

This t-shirt from ThinkGeek  is great, and will show everyone how much you know about the meaning of life.  Because we all know a little bit about it, don't we?

The t-shirt can be had in blue or mustard for the low price of $18.99.

    Best Excused Absence EVAR

This is wicked cool.  Really, trust me.

And, it's CNN, so you know it's true...

    Longest Poem in the World

You all know how I feel about Twitter - mostly I love it (despite being inundated by the masses now).

Someone has done something really cool, and started a poem based on Twitter posts that rhyme.  The coolest part is that these tweets are gathered from the Twitter stream, so the rhymes are completely unrelated - but somehow they work.  Each line of the poem provides a link back to the original tweet.

It looks like it's done automatically, because some of the rhymes include emoticons (as in the word "Wheee!" rhyming with :P.  But no matter, this is still some of the coolest stuff I've seen.

Remarkably, it's done in real time, so the poem grows by roughly 4000 verses a day, according to the web site.  What's more interesting, to me, is that the rhymes are in real time - which means for many tweets, there's one that rhymes within seconds.  Statistically this may not be a big deal, but it's pretty amazing when you think about it.  Upon doing a little research, it seems that both lines of the rhyme are not in real time - but at least one is.  Ah well, it's still amazing.

    From the About page:

"The Longest Poem in the World" is composed by aggregating real-time
public twitter updates and selecting those that rhyme. It is constantly growing at ~4000 verses / day.  You can see more verses by clicking the three dots at the bottom (• • •)

So, without further adieu, I give you the Longest Poem in the World.  It is listed by most recent first.  To read older posts, click the ellipsis (...) at the bottom of the page.
